With the weather getting nicer (aside from today), I started thinking about some good summer time shit that involves drinking beer.

Saint-Ambroise McAuslan Brewery Terrace:

Located at 5080 Rue Saint-Ambroise in Saint Henri, the MacAuslan brewery terrace is the perfect summer spot for enjoying beers while looking out onto the filthy but somewhat picturesque Lachine Canal. Its open on the weekends from 12pm-9pm, so a great place to work on an afternoon buzz or early evening pre-drinking. They also have some of the best and most tasty brews Montreal has to offer.

La Festival Mondial de la Biere:
We went to this last year and it did not disappoint. Located in Windsor Station and outside of it too! (1160, De la Gauchetière Street West).If you can avoid the massive lines that start around 5pm when everyone is off of work, and hit it up for a crazy daytime buzz and delicious brew tasting, we highly recommend it. 1$ gets you one beer coupon and a lot of booths give a cup of beer for a coupon. If getting drunk is your main goal, we suggest going straight for the cups of 10%-13% beers. If you have some cash and feel like experimenting there are hundreds of different beers to try!

Yes you read right. We are throwing a free beer party May 23rd at Friendship Cove. A daytime party and BBQ, starting around 3pm and ending whenever. Bands and dj's! More info to come!
